Philippe Levrel

President

It all started with Deloitte & Associés in Paris. In 1999, Philippe was entrusted with audit engagements of asset management companies and investment products.

He then became Head of Compliance and Internal Control for entrepreneurial management companies from 2004 to 2009 (ACOFI Group and SPGP).
In 2010, he launched his own entrepreneurial venture and founded the firm Agama Conseil.

Louis-Grégoire LOGRE

Managing Partner

Louis-Grégoire started his career in 2002 with the French financial markets authority (Autorité des Marchés Financiers – AMF) and became Director of the Investment Services division in 2008.

In 2010, he joined a compliance and internal control consulting firm.
With this experience, Louis-Grégoire joins Philippe and Agama Conseil as a partner in 2013.

Prior to joining Agama Conseil in 2013, Carine acquired a significant experience in compliance and internal control at an asset management company as Middle Office Manager and then at a specialist consulting firm, as Senior consultant, where she assisted many asset management companies in implementing their internal compliance and control systems.

Carine was involved in the creation and development of Agama Conseil.

Prior to joining Agama Conseil in 2018,
Gilles worked for 16 years in financial audit within Deloitte’s Asset Management department in Paris.

He was in charge of auditing asset management companies and overseeing statutory audits of UCIs (UCITS, AIFs and Private Equity funds).

Gilles also performed periodic control and support missions and delivered financial instruments training to accounting valuation teams.

Before joining Agama Conseil in 2021, Jean-Pierre has acquired a strong experience of more than 30 years in the field of legal aspects of asset management. He worked for a subsidiary of the Caisse des dépôts and above all for HSBC Group, where he was Head of the Legal department of Elysées Fonds and then of HSBC Epargne Entreprise, and then Head of the Legal department of the divisions France and Epargne Entreprise within HSBC Global Asset Management (France).

He has been involved in the working group of AFG Legal Committee since its creation and was Chairman of the Employee Savings and Retirement Savings Legal Committee in March 2019.

Prior to joining Agama Conseil in 2014, François began his career in 1992 at Banque Industrielle et Mobilière Privée.

Starting in 1996, he worked at Dexia Fund Services as a Legal & Tax Manager. In 2005 he became Head of Legal & Compliance for UBS Global Asset Management in Paris and then in 2011 Director of Compliance of Groupe Primonial.

He also provided regulatory training and helped create the AFG-CFPB certification exam.

Prior to joining Agama Conseil in 2017, Nora worked for over 10 years in financial auditing within Deloitte’s Investment Management department in Paris.

She performed statutory audits and internal controls for asset management companies.

Before joining AGAMA Conseil in 2021, Thomas worked for more than 8 years at Maker Management Consulting within the Strategy & Organization Division and then at PwC France within the Financial Servies Regulatory department.

He was in charge of the strategic development of investment service providers, mainly management companies (support during the creation of the company, one-off strategic review, implementation of business expansion, support for internationalization).

Prior to joining Agama Conseil in 2021, Yohan worked for 15 years in financial audit in the Insurance Asset Management department of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Paris.

He was in charge of the supervision of UCI statutory audit missions (UCITS, AIF and Private Equity).

Yohan has also carried out consolidation assignments under IFRS for investment funds and valuation assignments for risky financial instruments (Asset Backed Security and Collateralized Loan).

Agama is working with many clients who are managing UCITS funds, AIFs, discretionary portfolio management mandates. Our clients operate in the following areas:

Asset Management Companies with classic investment strategies account for 8.5% of initial authorisations in 2016 (source AMF).

Real Estate

We provide support to Real Estate Asset Management Companies (OPCI, SCPI, SLP, other AIF).

Real Estate Asset Management Companies account for 34% of initial authorisations in 2016 (source AMF).

Private Equity

Our clients are involved in all areas of Private Equity and at all stages of the development of equity interests:

Private Equity Asset Management Companies account for 48.5% of initial authorisations in 2016 (source AMF).

Securitisation and specialty financing

We are also working with Asset Management Companies managing unlisted debt vehicles (French and European AIFs, securitisation vehicles, etc.).
